Project Description

This research aims to investigate how well iPhone-based LiDAR conduct the detailsurveys compared to the data collected from Total Station, a high precision surveying instrument.This will also discuss the possible opportunities of these devices like iPhone 14 Pro forindoor/outdoor modelling. This will help to investigate how well iPhone based LiDARcharacterizes topography and whether it will be the cost-effective alternatives in the field ofmapping against the widely used Total Station.
